7. Creation of Floor Game.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Project with the title “Healthy Learners in a Sustainable Society”, our school takes part as a partner, having as a coordinator school the Fridaskolan of the city Uddevalla in Sweden. The other partners are the Centre d’Ensenyament Col·legi Balmes of the city Palma de Mallorca in Spain and the Friedensburg-Oberschule of the city Berlin in Germany.
So, the 6th Grade of our school created a floor game concerning the proper nutritional habits and its title is “Health Steps”.
Mrs Kyriokaopoulou Doranthi is the teacher who helped the students to create this game. The students can play this game during break times and also during lesson times.
On a waterproof tarpaulin there are 100 squares. Some of them display healthy and unhealthy nutritional habits. The students, using their bodies as pawns, with the help of the dice, play the game either in personal or in a group level. They have fun and they learn at the same time!
This year was the last year for the children of the 6th Grade in the 13th Primary School of Kalamata. This game remains in our school as a useful stock for the next generation of students who will attend to our school. It will also remain as an idea for further educational creations. Besides, this is the real goal of the Erasmus+ projects: to become a start from some students who put this idea across to the rest of the present students and the future students.
